Nileside Sunset with beautiful friends
Homelessness to Egypt is just a single chapter, quite a lengthy one but with a fabulous cast.
Set in Cheshire, Staffordshire, French Pyranees, Derbyshire, Morecambe Bay(!) & Edinburgh
during a time when I moved to more than 30 different temporary addresses.
In just one year.
Insanity avoided.
It just forced me to Give to the Tao
Dance the dance
Let the weaver weave the web
Almost 18 months here in Egypt now.
Life is a paradox.
It's the same
but
completely different
I'd hardly heard of Egypt 25 months ago.
Sure, I knew it had Pyramids and places
knew of The boy King Tutankamun
Nothing else though................

Odd things happen in my life. There I had been telling a friend my plans to visit Thailand
for the end of first year uni summer hols.
I hadn't worked it out in detail
but I would
and she just didn't really go for it. You know she's wanting to be pleased
& saying Yes my friend that sounds great
but actually she is thinking something completely different.......
Like, are you crazier than i know?
Some of my other friends took up the same
impenetrable glances & stances.
Knowing full well I would rebel and go anyway
if they gave overt disapproval.
None wanted to say You can't do that
they needed an alternative
Egypt
Luxor to be precise.
I'm just calling to tell you you can have a lovely time there darling
Excuse me!
Luxor............. Egypt............
What!
Well, they were all so pleased.
It all eventually came together................
& I landed with a dear friend June 07.
Something profound happened, I instantly fell in love with Egypt.
I felt at home.
Back to my roots, back in time, biblical way of life
who can know?

Ridiculous & magical experiences all the way through my entire life to date, have ensured my extreme gratitude for this magnificent chapter.
May it be long be peaceful, success filled and full of love.
